Thank you for choosing our condo for your stay. We’re excited to have you here and hope you have a wonderful time.

We’ve created this Welcome Book to give you all the information about our home along with some tips to help you make the most of your time here in Breckenridge.

This place means a lot to us and we kindly ask that you treat our home and our neighbors with the utmost care. If anything isn’t quite right or if you need an assistance, please let me know.

Beaver Run - Summit Retreats

PRE-ARRIVAL

Grocery Stores

There’s a City Market conveniently located right in town.

If you’re looking for other options, there is a Whole Foods, Natural Grocer, and Safeway in Frisco.

There is also  a Walmart in Frisco and a Target in Silverthorne.

Airport Shuttle

A few companies provide shuttle service from DIA to Breckenridge. See which one you like the most:

  • Fresh Tracks Transportation

GETTING INSIDE

Directions

From I-70 West take Exit 203 to Frisco.

Head South on Highway 9 towards Breckenridge.

When approaching Breckenridge, stay in the Right Lane.

Once you pass a roundabout, turn right on the next intersection (Village Road).

Continue to drive up for about 1/3 of mile and the front desk building will be on your left. Park your car in one of the designated spaces and check-in at the front desk.

Parking

Paid parking for one car is available either in the garage or the parking lot behind our building.

The garage height clearance is 7 feet 2 inches (there is an outdoor parking behind our building on first come first serve basis).

As noted in the listing, the parking fee is an additional fee paid directly to Beaver Run during your check-in.

The fees are set at the sole discretion of Beaver Run (they are higher during the ski season and lower the rest of the year).

Oversized vehicles, campers and trailers would have to be parked off-site.

Access

Beaver Run administers check-ins for all units.

Please go to the front desk with your ID anytime after 4pm, they will be expecting you.

You will be staying in unit 31410.

If you are driving, ask the front desk agent for a parking pass. The parking fee is payable directly to Beaver Run.

The front desk is open 24/7.

If you are arriving early, depending on availability, Beaver Run may be able to give you day key to use their amenities.

If the condo is ready a little earlier, I’ll let you know as soon as I hear from our cleaning lady.

Beaver Run Resort is one of the most sought-after destinations in Breckenridge. With true ski-in/ski-out access, full resort amenities, and a prime location, it’s a great vacation spot.

HOME INFO

Heating

The heater is operated by the thermostat in the living room.

In case that the building runs too warm, please open the balcony door or a window.

AC

Condos in Breckenridge and across the entire Summit County are not equipped with air conditioning.

Windows are used to let the cool mountain air in.

Even in July, nighttime temperatures often drop into mid 40s.

Trash

The trash chute is located at the end of the hallway (take a left as you leave the condo).

Laundry

A coin-operated washer and dryer are located on the second floor.

From the condo, take a right. At the end of the hallway, take the stairs up to the second floor.

Ski Storage

The Beaver Run SuperChair is located right behind the main building.

If you like, the shuttle will take you to the gondola.

The ski storage is located in the main building, close to the lift. As you walk over the bridge, look for a door on the right side. The stairs will lead you to the ski storage. The key is on the hook in the condo on the main door.

TV

There is a wood-burning fireplace in the condo.

Wood is provided for free – if you need more, just call the front desk.

CLUBHOUSE

Hot Tub

There is an indoor/outdoor pool and a few outdoor hot tubs in the clubhouse right in building 3. There is also a gym, sauna, steam room, pool table, and arcades.

You can also use the outdoor pool and hot tub in building 4. They are located right by the lift.

Use only at your own risk.

Pool towels are provided by our homeowner association.

There is a tennis court in building 3.

Bus

The town of Breckenridge provides free bus service throughout the town. For the most current schedule, please visit Breckenridge Free Ride.

For out of town bus service visit Summit Stage.

TIPS AND FAQ

Do you have a ski locker?

Yes. The ski locker is located right in the lobby.

If you prefer, you can store skis in your car.

Please do not bring skis and snowboards to the condo. Thank you.

Is there a daily maid service?

Linens and towels are provided, but there is no daily maid service.

A laundry room is located on the second floor by the elevator.

Where can I park my trailer?

Our homeowner association does not allow to park a trailer or an oversized vehicle at the property and they would issue a fine. I myself have to follow their rules and I’m unable to make an exception.

Only one car per unit is allowed. Additional cars, large vehicles, RVs, campers, trailers, etc. would have to be parked off-site.

The town of Breckenridge offers some overnight parking options. Please visit Breck Park for more information.

Parking on the streets within the town of Breckenridge is strictly prohibited.

Are there towels at the pool area?

There are no towels at the pool area.

We provide the gray/blue towels for use at the clubhouse.

Please don’t forget to bring them back as we have no way to collect them. Our cleaning lady would have to charge for replacement.

How can I get to the Gondola?

The Gondola is 0.7 miles from the condo.

It’s a nice walk either through Main Street or the River Walk Center, but if you don’t feel like walking just take a bus.

The bus stop is on Park Avenue. Take right as you walk out of the building and continue to the intersection with Park Avenue where you take right again. The first building on the other side of the road is Park Avenue Lofts and the bus stop is right in front of it. Stop number 11. On the way back, the bus stops right in front of the building. Stop number 12. It’s the Brown Route.

Furniture.

To protect the flooring and save us time upon your check-out, please don’t move any furniture around.

Toilet and drain.

Toilet paper only, please.

No paper towels, napkins, diapers, baby wipes, feminine products, trash, etc.

 

Kitchen Drain.

No bones, no fats oil and greases, no coffee grounds, no eggshells, no peelings and starchy foods, no nuts, etc.

 

A professional drain company charges around $300/hour. For some reason, it always takes more than an hour.

Can I get a late check-out?

As much as we would love to say yes, a late check-out can be complicated by the arrival of the next group.

Please check for availability at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure.
