The gondola is easily accessible. Its main station is located just about a block from Main Street on the North side of the town. And it’s right by the Breckenridge Transportation Center where all the buses go.

Gondola Rides

There are 121 gondola cabins and each one can carry up to 8 passengers. It can transport about 3,000 people per hour and it takes about 10 minutes.

The North Gondola will take you to the base of Peak 7 or the base of Peak 8.

In winter, if you have your ticket or ski pass, you can start at either place. At Peak 7 you can catch the Independence SuperChair and there is Colorado SuperChair and Rocky Mountain SuperChair at Peak 8.

In summer, most people will go to the base of Peak 8 (it’s the third stop) because that’s where the Breckenridge Fun Park is located.
