Breckenridge Restaurants
Dining options in Breckenridge are plentiful and delicious! There are far more delightful choices than we could write about here. Following are some of our absolute favorites with links to the rest of the best.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially in the high country. Don’t forget to eat before you get out on the slopes. The altitude will have less effect and you’ll have more fun! If you’re looking for a quick breakfast before you get out first thing, go to Clints Bakery & Coffee House! A host of fresh, tasty options and hot coffee to your taste and order abound. They also open at 7 am for those who want first chair. If you have a little more time, try Columbine Cafe. They specialize in breakfast & brunch, from grits and corned beef, to eggs Benedict!
Want something more off-the –wall? Stop in to Crepes a la Carte! Sweet and savory options are available, and you can even design your own with gluten free batter if you wish. A great brunch or sweet escape option as well! Check out their desert liquor crepes!
For lunch let your desires guide your decisions. If feeling in the mood for authentic Mexican, try out Fiesta Jalisco for a true experience! A quick sandwich? Head to Duggin’s Deli, a local favorite, and try ‘The Arch’! Feeling Italian? Try Giampetro’s Pasta & Pizzeria and ask your waiter to surprise you! Prefer to use some chopsticks for your lunch? Get a steaming bowl of Pho at Pho Real! If Southern food is calling your name, go to Moe’s Original Bar B Que, or The Lost Cajun and delight your senses! Want a great burger, well Flip-side and Empire Burger vie for our attention, both are amazing! If you want incredible views of the slopes on peak 8, and scrumptious food, head up to Robbie’s Tavern. A perfect location if you want to come right off the mountain and eat while still watching the thrilling sports.
As dinner-time rolls around, we know you’re starving after a long day of activity. If you want to get dressed up for a fine-dining experience, go to Hearthstone! Surprise your loved one with a candlelit dinner in a romantic nook looking out at the mountains. Rated #1 restaurant in Breckenridge, the food is nothing short of wonderful! Make a reservation and ask for a table under a window! If you prefer to experience some of Colorado’s wild game, go to Relish and savor a new experience. The kitchen puts an amazing amount of care into every dish, you will feel satisfied and content.
Looking for something with a more homey feel? Motherloaded is your ticket. Grandma’s cooking up your favorite dish, while the servers treat you like part of the family! Family you actually like. Even better, is the entertainment. Open Mic Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, Karaoke Wednesdays, and live music on the weekend!
Now if you’re feeling more sports bar arcade, head to Downstairs at Erics. 22 big screens and a full video arcade! Great fun whether you are visiting with the kids or are a gamer yourself.
If you want to stay in, enjoy the hot tub, and order out, first decide whether you want Pizza/Wings or something else. If Pizza/Wings is it, Northside Pizza is amazing, get “The Burn” if you like spicy. If you prefer Chicago style pizza, order from Windy City Pizza!!
If Pizza/Wings is not where you’re heart’s at, then get online and go to Zula Food. You can pick any type of food you want, in whatever combination. They will pick it up from the restaurant and bring it to you for a modest fee, talk about service!
Looking to get wild out on the town, we recommend a pub crawl!
Angel’s Hollow is a local favorite, with great drinks, an artsy atmosphere and awesome bar food.
Cecilias Martini Bar & Nightclub is Breckenridge’s premier dance club and martini bar. DJ driven with a pole in the center of the dance floor. They keep it classy and elegant and the DJ is great!
If you are looking 2 for 1 martinis in an upscale atmosphere with great apps, check out Blue River Bistro!
If you prefer to chill & shoot a few rounds of pool head to Burke & Riley’s Irish Pub for a decompressor.
Want something different and unique, try Absinthe Bar. They feature Absinthe from several countries with different herbs and preparations. The “little green fairy” ,for it’s supposed hallucinogenic properties, may rock your night! It also has medicinal properties, who knew?
When you find yourself in need of a late night snack, go to Above the Blue “Redzz”!!!!! THE best late night food stand, right there at the corner of park and main! Have the Gyro and feel like one too! Great for preventing hangovers, and some of the best food in Breck!
If you’re feeling a little less than chipper, head to the O2 Lounge, and get some aromatherapy Oxygen! O2 is great for jet lag, altitude sickness, and even hangovers!
